Its our fourth child's fourth birthday today! So while I had things going in the shop I decided to cut her name out of plywood to have her paint. Great fun!

With the new handheld CNC machine I was finally able to fulfill the order I received to produce 25 light stands. It was another good thing to do to get to learn the new machine!

I've been chipping away at some smaller things until the weather warms up to get the bookcase underway! I cranked out several coasters for the school auction fundraiser. It was a fun test to see how detailed I can get with the Shaper Origin.

I have been waiting with great investment and anticipation for the brand new, first of its kind, handheld CNC machine. I was an early adopter and purchased it over a year ago. It was expected to deliver last September and just two days ago I was informed that my Shaper Origin is on its way! The first project I have slated for this is the famous Hoop Stand. Invented by a former colleague and friend who past away several years ago, but far too early. I will produce 25 of these unique units. Plans are done and client has approved. We are ready to move into production as soon as I can acquire some more raw materials!

I am in the middle of milling some custom hickory frames for a clients stain glass windows. These windows were custom designed by the client and commissioned by a stained glass artisan. The client said to me after I sent some progress photos, "I'm excited. These have been stored for a while."
